I’m Johanna Jacobs, a joyful Acupuncture Physician offering gentle yet transformative treatments. Since 2005, I’ve had the privilege of running my private practice, dedicated to keeping families healthy and thriving. My background as a Montessori teacher for young children laid the foundation for my work, especially my passion for supporting women during pregnancy, postpartum, and with menstrual health. The Montessori environment and holistic healing practices are parallel worlds, acknowledging each child and each patient as a unique individual with varying natural tendencies.
If I could speak to my younger self, I would share the wisdom I’ve gained about how deeply emotions influence physical well-being. I’ve learned that balancing life’s stresses with joy and healthy habits is key to feeling our best. This is something I now bring into my treatments, listening carefully to my patients’ experiences and concerns. Using both knowledge and intuition, I create personalized treatment plans, with the understanding that both the patient and I are partners in their healing journey.
In my approach, I focus on balancing what I call the four pillars of health: mindful food choices, restorative sleep, stress management techniques, and movement. Together, they lay the foundation for optimal wellness and successful treatment outcomes.
